The wisteria clad White House was built in the
late 17th Century and was part of the Maristow Estate until 1911. It lies between
the popular market and stannary town of Tavistock and Yelverton, both
gateways to Dartmoor.
The property
has been sympathetically improved to retain its period features as well as
providing guests with contemporary luxury. Rooms are comfortably
furnished to a high standard, have en-suite facilities or private bathroom. Each room has a
plasma screen colour TV and complimentary tea/coffee
making facilities. Hair-dryer, ironing board and iron can be provided on request. A
comfortable sitting room, for guest use only, is next to the dinning room on
the ground floor. We have off road parking for our guests.
Ideally positioned for cycling the Drake's Trail and
near to numerous walking routes. We can provide lockable storage for bicycles
plus boot and clothes drying facilities for walkers.
